My aim in starting this blog is simple. To provide reading material and resources for those looking to go to bed a little smarter then when they woke up. I want this to eventually turn into a hub for those long term thinkers, a place where you can find interesting content from a wide range of fields, expand your knowledge and keep coming back for refreshers.
Although this blog is aimed at those who seek practical wealth building philosophies and financial wisdom with a humanistic approach. I will also do my best to provide blog posts about topics that interest me. If they interest me, well then, they may interest you too.
I have found that in todays ‘Alexandria Age’ we have so much high quality information available at our fingertips. It’s amazing. We are fortunate to live in this day in age, however we must sort through and filter that information. We must be keenly aware of our information diet. Be tuned in to what we consume. I will strive for simplicity. I will strive to put out high quality content, that will resonate with you and help you learn. It helps me too.
Selfishly, I am also creating this blog for another reason. For my daughter, who I hope will one day be able to come here and browse around and learn from a variety of topics. Pick and choose if you will and follow her interests.
When I was growing up in the 1990’s, schools were pretty structured and set in their ways with the material we had to learn. I never learned the information that I truly wanted to learn. Now, we have the ability to pick and choose what we learn. To follow what interests us. So if this blog interests you, and you find the blogs helpful, insightful and you take a small piece of knowledge away after each read. Then I have done my job. I’m trying to live my life in a way that I leave the world a little better than I found it. I’m not an academic nor am I super interested in being a high flying CEO or Tech founder. I am simply following my curiosities, in the fields that relate to my line of work. Work that interests me and inspires me to be better each day. I love art, i love real estate and i love investing in stocks. I also have an adoration for philosophy, learning from the founders of phenomenal companies and learning from the great leaders of our day.
You will eventually find this blog filled with posts of the above and posts that I just simply want to share my thoughts on. I really do hope you enjoy.
I want you to be able to stay a while, read, reflect, take notes. To dig deeper on the subjects of interest and expand your knowledge base. I am excited to get working and get creating for you.
